Welcome to Bluemica. By downloading, accessing, or using our mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

01 Eligibility & Registration

Institute Affiliation: Access is strictly restricted to current members of the institute. You must register using your official institute email (e.g., @iiserb.ac.in).

Account Information: You must provide accurate information (Full name, Gender, Course/Batch). You are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality.

Single Account: You may only maintain one active account.

02 Data Privacy & Permissions

Information Collection: We collect identity data to foster a trusted campus community.

Media Access: We respect your privacy. The app will never scan your local gallery. Permissions are requested only for manual uploads.

03 User Conduct

By using Bluemica, you agree NOT to:

  • Harass or discriminate
  • Use for illegal activities
  • Spam feeds or chats
  • Misrepresent identity

04 Feature-Specific Terms

Ride-Sharing

Facilitates peer-to-peer ride sharing. We are not a taxi service. Use at your own risk.

Buy and Sell

Transactions are strictly between buyer and seller. Bluemica handles no payments.

05 Keeping Bluemica Safe

To ensure Bluemica remains a helpful space, we occasionally step in to review content. Our goal is always **safety first**.

Content Review

We may hide or edit posts that don't align with our community vibe.

Account Standing

Accounts compromising trust may be restricted to protect the campus.

Community Guidelines

1. No Spamming

Keep the feed clean. Do not post multiple identical listings.

2. Genuine Posts

Real items and rides only. Fraud results in a ban.

3. Respectful Comms

Be polite. Harassment is strictly prohibited.

4. Safety First

Meet in public places. Prioritize personal safety.
